Stanford blog service
IT Services provides easy-to-install, centrally supported WordPress instances, at no charge, to Stanford departments and officially-recognized groups. WordPress is an open source blog tool and publishing platform. For more information, please visit the ITS blog service page.

For individual faculty, students, alumni and staff who wish to start a blog, there are third-party blogging services that make it easy and in many cases, free, to create a blog. The following services fall into this category:
