The Stanford Solar Car Project, is a student-run, donation-funded project that has been building and racing solar-powered vehicles since 1986. Stanford Solar provides hands-on experience for students in various fields of study and educates various groups on and off campus.

We are a student organization that designs, builds, tests, and races a solar powered vehicle every other year. We have open membership for any Stanford students or alumni who are interested in helping out. This blog follows our progress through the race cycle and is an excellent window into our operations.
