2006 Undergraduate Housing Draw Statistics

Note: Forty two women and sixty two men were unassigned after the Draw. (Twenty five women and thirty three men are guaranteed, 29 men  and 17 women had used all of their guaranteed years.

Cut-Off Numbers

Listed below are the residences to which students were assigned in the 2006 Undergraduate Housing
Draw, along with the application numbers and priority level of the last man and woman to be assigned
to each residence.

To be assigned to a given residence, a student needed to 1) be placed in the assignable group
(the assignable group includes all students with application numbers equal to or better (lower) than the
overall cut-off number), and 2) have a better (lower) priority than the last student assigned there or
have the same priority as that student and a better (lower) application number (except in focus houses).
Focus houses offer special priorities for a limited number of spaces only; the remaining spaces are
available to any student, regardless of priority.

Note that these numbers do not indicate what will happen in future Undergraduate Housing Draws.
Assignment results can change significantly year-to-year, due to the Capital Improvement Program,
changes in residence programs, and changes in student interests. The cutoff numbers do, however,
provide some indication of the relative chance of assignment to a house.

How to read the cutoff numbers:

• The first column next to the residence name is the number of the last person assigned to the house as an individual.
  The second column is the number of the last 2-person group assigned to the house and so on.
• Cutoffs with a guarantee status code indicate that spaces in the residence could have been filled via promotion from
  "ANY RESIDENCE". This means that any student (or group) who had listed the residence as a choice could have been assigned.
• "Focus" and "ethnic" cutoffs indicate draw number and priority required in order to exercise focus priority or ethnic status.
• A draw number in italics indicates a split group (i.e., not all students with this number would have been able to get in).

for 6-person groups.
